Though it is appreciated to not post works earlier than the day of the prompt.Participants are able to interpret prompts however they like - for example, if someone wanted to do [Hope Letter], they don’t necessarily have to incorporate the provided bullet points into their interpretation of the theme. If you are using works that belong to another person, you must have permission by the creator and provide credit to everyone involved! Stolen works will not be permitted.Properly tagging works including nsfw/sensitive content are required, if you're unsure if it needs to be tagged or not, it's probably best to tag it to be safe. A few examples to note are things like murder, gore, character death, canon-typical violence, suicide, sexual themes, etc. If posting an image, please use a SFW/censored preview image while posting a link to the uncensored version using external websites such as Privatter or Poipiku.Ship/Character hate of any kind will not be accepted, the purpose of the event is to celebrate aesvic/vicsop. Of course, any works including discrimination or any hate speech will not be promoted and tolerated.Other ships are allowed to be in pieces, but only if the main focus of the piece is on Aesop Carl and Victor Grantz. F.A.Q.

Q. When will the event take place?
A. In general, this week will aim to take place on the last week of October. So for 2021, it will be between October 24th to October 31st.
-
Q. Alright, but where will the event take place?
A. As of right now, it'll mainly take place on twitter and ArchiveOfOurOwn. It's possible this can change if there's enough requests to expand to other sites.
-
Q. How am I supposed to interpret the prompts?
A. The prompts for this year are the letters. The bullet points listed are merely suggestions and you don't have to actually incorporate them (and if you do, you don't have to use Both of them if you don't want to). So you're free to interpret what is given however way you'd like!
-
Q. How do I submit my work?
A. All you really have to do is include the hashtag '#aesvicweek2021", and the twitter will retweet any posts that follows the rules.
-
Q. How should I post my submissions as a writer?
A. Once I figure out how to set it up, there'll be an AO3 collection for people to submit their works into if they plan to submit works there. (Just FYI, posting in AO3 is not required) As for making a post on twitter, please post a link to your fic! But make sure to put the appropriate tags for their written works.
-
Q. Can I collaborate with others for our submissions?
A. Yes! Just make sure to credit and tag all related people for the work(s) in question!
-
Q. Do I have to create works for all eight days if I want to participate?
A. Not necessary in the least, feel free to post only once if that's how much you'd like to make!
-
Q. Does it matter if I want to do Aesop/Victor or Victor/Aesop?
A. Any dynamic is fine, though please specify the pairing order in NSFW works - if only for people's personal preferences.
-
Q. Is it possible to create works with platonic or asexual/aromantic dynamics in mind?
A. Works with that depiction in mind are also welcome!
